Hi Dave,

I'm quite impressed by your editing work and as such, I am wondering if you
would be willing to do the same thing for my little Spelljammer setting.

I have a oh, 30 page write up that I put together over time and it needs the
same sort of treatment that you gave Metalspace..

I would like to send you the write up and see if it sparks your interest.
My direct email is wabbit_1@???????.com.

Thanks,

Clint

PS.. I'm of course willing to share this with anyone who is interested as
well, just let me know.

You are making this sphere even more bullet proof than before. I don't see
how the scro managed to get into the sphere with all this happening. As well
as the issues I already mentioned you now have this:

9) Nobody could posibly have told the scro where Metalspace was so they
couldn't have come there in the first place and
10) They wouldn't have been able to open the portal and get in.

I love the setting, but can't see where the opposition is going to be. If
things are totally stacked up in the favor of the arcane their is no
posibility they can loose. And no posiblility makes it harder for someone to
use your setting. I really think you need to make some holes in the
defences.

I think that it would be better to cut down on the value of the contents of
the sphere rather than make it harder and harder for people to get in and
out. For example you could have one of the metals in the sphere made from a
material that works in a similar fashion the the phologiston. Just as the
pholgiston has lots of properties but can't be taken into a crystal sphere,
this metal could be the most useful material in the universe but could
vanish when someone tries to take it out of the crystal sphere or across the
planes.

If you had a material like that you could make every inhabitant of the
sphere a millionaire, but make it impossible for them to take more than a
few hundred gold with them if they wanted to leave.

The arcane could happily leave the dwarves to count their fortunes of
useless money and quietly export all of the supposedly less expensive metals
that the dwarves don't want. This would explain why the arcane want to keep
all this quiet and not let the dwarves leave. As soon as a dwarf leaves he
is going to realise that the dwarven fortunes are useless anywhere else.

By the way, what is the "& name search" for?
