Hi all, First off, A hope everyone has a marry Christmas and such. And for those that do not practice Christmas I hope you enjoy the holiday season, events and Christmas lights. I'm about as religious as a rock but enjoy Christmas. (I think that God is an imaginary friend for grownups but that's another discussion) I just wanted to say that I run a Spelljammer game where the "Human" world "Shield" was founded by modern day humans stranded there. To keep it short: They have mixed what technology works (basically tube electronics at best and some chemistry) with magic to create a truly nasty navy that is without peer and enjoys a huge trade surplus as Shield exports just about anything it can manufacture such as steel, float glass, bikes, Golems ready to be magiced, etc. For those that are interested I have a dense 30 page write up. Please fell free to use whatever you want as you see fit if you read it. I have been running my game for years and quite frankly have too many players, so I guess I'm doing something right :) As for Mount Nevermind, this is name of the mountain where the gnomes live in my game and I stole this name from the "Atlas of the Dragon Lance World" published in 1987. If that helps anyone? I've had a few things planned for my game dealing with Tinker Gnomes and stats on a base would be great. just remember to include hamster pens in the plans when you work it up. A good place for a stampede or equaly embarassing situation for PCs. John Greyhawk Jim Kersh <tiffinki@???????.com> wrote: Hey everyone! I've been doing a little work on something, off and on - something that I was inspired to start thinking about by something I read here. It was quite some time ago.... maybe years.... I can't remember the exact subject nor whether there were any replies to it.... .... it may have been nothing but a joke, but someone here once made a reference to a gnome space station called "Nevermind V." I've had an inkling for a comedy-style adventure built around that name, so.... .... to the one who tossed that out long ago.... if you're still on the List, please identify yourself. If I develop the adventure, I'd very much like to know who to credit for the original concept, if possible. I thought the name was a scream, considering where it obviously came from and who it referred to. (I've tried searching the List archives, but to no effect; maybe my Search skills aren't strong enough). Thanks! Jim --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
