Plus, you have to take the alignment into account. Chaotic characters are unpredictable, and do what ever they want, especially the evil ones. Sometimes that means randomly killing whoever happens to be nearby, no matter who they are. Consequences and such triffles as who the target worships aren't even considered. That's not important to a chaotic character. All the chaotic evil one thinks about is how he feels at the time, and if he feels like killing a drow, he'll do it, without thinking of who or what will be displeased.
