Any notes you might have laying around would be appreciated. As to the
retirement home for high level heroes that is and was one of TSR's stupidest
spheres. I am thinking more along the lines of a Chapterhouse planet for
each faction that rules the planet. Perhaps a Lady of Pain type figure that
prevents out and out warfare (akin to the Serpent in the Vecna modules, a
primal force beyond even the powers themselves). HIghleevl heroes of the
faction could well be retired to these worlds (acting as administrators in
some cases) The alignment effects of each planet can be played with to make
them the planetary equivalent of Wards aginst those who are uninvited. (more
in a later post....)

Good Idea, but I myself would rather work with fixing the flaws and preserve
as much of the cannon material as possible. BEsides, if you take those ill
written novels as gospel that incarnation of the Spelljammer has changed
state and now only exists in some alternate reality. That paves the way for
a new smalljammer to grow up into something different in our reality. The
maps and othersuch (including the lifecycle ) are well worth keeping. As is,
IMHO, the populace of stranded mariners. A bit more is in order however in
order to make it plausible that even the Powers themselves remain quiet when
asked about it.....
