For the rest it would be a simple matter of adding Psionic Class Levels and adjusting acordingly. I would also allow Power Resistance to be present and equal to Spell Resistance for all natives of the Sphere. (I use the rule that PR=SR-10 and SR=PR-10. Natives of this sphere would not suffer the -10 reduction) The balancing is easy, and it does pave the way for some fun "scare 'em to death," encounters before they tumble to the Drommites. Once they find a hive they can get utfitted with detect psionics spells and the like. > > The Pirates of Gith-<snip> > Fits. Of course, they > want to get to it first! :) And don't forget the Githzeri and Githyanki. (If you wanated to run a full on Githyanki Invasion the Incursion stuff done in dungeon and Dragon Magazines was sweet. It is one storyline I am considering) The interactions of all three gith races in a high psi sphere that also hosts Illithids and Aboleths. Think about it. This could well be a terrific high level campaign. Perhaps they are after the Tomb of Gith (the Star Net adventure at http://www.spelljammer.org/plots/index.html is a fun SJ take on the Tomb of Gith idea. It would also require minimal retooling to add to the asteroid cluster that is Mirror....) or a Psionic artifact like the Annulus. Of course any other races coming in range had best look out...... > Ilsensine as female...a new twist. :) PRonoun confusion on my part, but I have always pictured a sinister female voice for this Power.... > > Cerebreliths- <snip> > Hmmm, I did want to use something other than a Balor for the head of the > Throne of Vanity, and a Cerebrelith might make more sense. Quick shorthand on Cerebreliths: PsiLike Abilities-Brain Lock, detect psionics, ego whip, id insinuation, mind trap, psionic dominate, ectoplasmic form, mind probe, mind thrust. SpellLike Abilities-deeper darkness, detect good, dispel good, greater teleport, magic circle against good, unholy blight. They are described as constantly honing their mental abilities and so it would be natural to find them dominating groups of slave entities on a quest for more (psi)power.
