I recently got Dunjinni. It look pretty powerful, but hard to use and the
first time I tried to use it it crashed.

Ok, but that doesn't tell me what Dundjinni is.  Is it just simple
graphical software with a bunch of pre-print images? is it cartographic
stuff?  is it CAD?

As far as e-tools I have to wonder how much abandoning anyone other
than WotC has done with it.  They changed companies early on, changed
scope, and have a lousy history of supporting any software at all--such
as blocking the third free patch for the FR Interactive Atlas for
years.  And now someone posted on another list that they left out part
of a Dragon mag from the archive and they aren't even putting up that
part for download to correct the error.  And those examples are only
looking at what WotC has done with its gaming software lines (and not
all of them, for instance they had the complete ninja's handbook ready
for add-on to the Core Rules 2 software and never released it).  If we
looked at their game software contracts and such we could find a whole
lot of bunk.

Or we coud just ask Static how responsive they are to his queries and
ask the list ogre how helpful they are about changing the link to the
official SJ webpage at the bottom of every post...
