This is the first NPC of the week. I will try to get at least one up each week, but real life might intrude. The format will be simple (so as to work well across differing rulesets) mainly focusing on a few paragraphs about the personality. Savalokor- First Order Priest of Celestian .(Lizardfolk Male, Fighter 3, Cleric 2) A quiet and introspective seeming entity, Savalokor is far from forthcoming about his origins. He appeared on the Rock of Bral a year ago on a tramp freighter from RingSpace and made his way directly to the Pantheistic College of Celestian. Supplicating himself he requested the priveledge of becoming a novice priest. (See http://www.spelljammer.org/contests/localchapters/ChurchOfCelestian-Bral.html for descriptions of the Church and it's personalities) Adelard, the High Priest, granted him admittance and since then he has remained the model novice. Like many of his race, his interpersonal skills when dealing with mammals are not always at their best. Mostly quiet and reserved (some say taciturn), he has on occasion shown signs of a temper, although never around any of the other priests of his order. In his studies he has proven a quick study with a true aptitude for divine magic. Little known to those around him, Savalokor has an agenda of his own. Lizard folk belive that incubating their eggs close to a sun results in more advenced Lizardfolk (Concordance of Arcane Space, Spelljammer Boed Set). Savalokor belongs to a small sect of Lizardfolk who believe in adopting the travel gods of the "soft folk," in order to aid in a very special quest. These radicals wish to journey the spheres in search of the "Prime Sun," one which would affect eggs incubated near it so as to produce extremely powerful and intelligent Lizardfolk. They belive that the mammal's time shall end, much as the time of the Illithids and the Thri Kreen did. Their order wishes to pave the way for the Scalykind to ascend to dominance. One of the (suprisingly sophistocated) ideas that they espouse is that the gods are innately formless. This justifies their adoption of human godforms, as once the humans are no more and the scalykind rule the gods will be portrayed as Lizardfolk and will change accordingly. Needless to say, the clerics of Semuanya hate these "heretics." with a passion. Loki, DM Warriors of the Balance: The Rise of Dukagsh Campaign New Orleans, La IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE, YOU HAVE UNTIL AUGUST 18. Do It.
