Hm, or more likely merley pay "tribute" in that senario? :) Not only do you have the problems oyu mentioned if oyu tried conquering a planet, but you'd have a TON more: --Most fantasy worlds may have thousands of small local ruler, who'd need ot be dealt with individually. --Strange local conditions may make it way to hazardous. Disease, everyone is an archmage etc. --Fantasy worlds do not have to have a normal geography (my campaign word is multidimensional, sort of) But raiding for profit is sure feasible ;) Silverblades Suitcase www.silverblades-suitcase.com I'd rather be a Fool who believes in Dragons, Than a King who believes in Nothing ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Sandy" <wuggadad@??????.com> To: <SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 07, 2004 7:31 AM Subject: Re: [SPELLJAMMER] Planet conquering > A SJ power could go a-Viking. > > Load up with cavalry, drop the troops down in a relatively quiet spot, do some > raiding and head back to a rendevous with the ship.
