Of the Gms i have played under, i would say there is a 80%/20% break of
those who require lists of components versus those who don't.  Heck, the
last gm i played under, actually made u have a chart of the spells which
required material components, what level they were, what the component(s)
was(were) and how many 'uses' you carried.

As a cleric, a lot was simplified (holy symbol) but a good portion did
require components...

Personally, i DO require tracking of components.  Especially at the higher
levels...
