This is the weapon damage chart i have from WCC.
WPN HP Hull pt
Light balistae 2D6 none
Medium balistae 3D6 1D3
Heavy balistae 3d10 1D4+2
Light catapult 2d10 1D2
Medium catapult 3d10 1d3+1
Heavy catapult 3d10 2d4

As for personal weapons doing hull points, I personally play it where if
they don't do more than 10 pts of damage, HALF the number they did and carry
it over to the next strike. IF The second strike + the carry over is equal
to a hull point (10 hit points) then one is done. If not, carry half the
second damage roll, and so. you only carry the previous attack's damage
(halfed) over. but you still get a carry over effect. Now, if each
shot/whack is a called shot (standard -4 to hit) then you get full damage
carry over.
