One of the biggest 'beafs' i have with then, is if they cannot graft > weapons on that are magical, then how the hell do they fight monsters > requiring magic to hit. Also, would their 'natural weaponry' or any grafted > weapon be considered touching, for purposes of Undead energy drain?? In my own campaign I would make it an item creation feat "Graft Magic Weapon/Armor" and allow those Xixchill who have the feat to do so. As to the energy drain question, I would say that use of natural weapons would incur an energy drain, and use of grafted weapons would not. The rationale (this is all off the top of my head BTW) being that the grafted weapons are not actually part of the organism. Now this does not take into account the murky arguments on conductivity or other issues, but does provide a quick and simple ruling for these situations. BTW, anyone have any info on the body modification abilities of the Xixchil? I have been looking for a 3.5 edition conversion and cannot find one.
