> I'm in, sounds nifty :) What kind of thing are you looking for? Just a
description of the dish? The history behind it? The economy and logistics
of obtaining and shipping it around wild space? A page out of recipe book
and/or culinary magazine?

Yes to all. I am going to post my short list in the next day or so. What I
have been doing is just naming and describing dishes common to starports
(like Scavver Tartar, the traditional pirates dinner upon successfully
returning from a raid) to things particular to different SJ denizens (for
instance the illegal trade in rot grubs, illegal everywhere but considered a
delicacy amongst the Xixchill).
Whatever take you want to use for your own work is great. NOTE: some dishes,
fruits, etc have measurable game effects which will be expressed in d20 3.5
rules as that is our system for my campaign (i.e. the poison DC for a non
Giff consuming Yaneesh).
Email me offlist if you wish and I will add your works and credits to the
document I intend to post so we can get it all in one place.
To work! Whip the Scribes if they falter! Where's my damn menu?!?!?!
