Yup, they are NPCs for us. One thing to keep in mind is that they are
alternate reality versions of your PCs. Overall levels are around 6th (Our
PCs are just hitting 11th) and I am sure that there are many variations. I
have used the "fluff," that Westermeyer posts as inspiration for playing
them, but have many variances. For one thing I am engendering a romance
between Wilhelmina and our own resident Giff gladiator Oswald Lethbridge
Smythe-Carruthers. I would happily jot down what I am doing with them as
NPCs, especially if I could get a bit more source material.
As a matter of fact, if anyone is doing likewise with The Company of the
Seven Stars I would love to hear about it. Using someone else's take on the
PCs would provide fertile ground for an adventure based upon alternate
versions meeting.
