Ok, I should really not post when I'm in a rush :) Lets try this again now
that I've had time to think about a better response :)

:) The "champion" bit was a last-minute addition, but I like it a lot. It
came about when I was doing the History/Satallites sections, and the idea
just came to me. It was a great way of making the sphinxes special; they're
the divine servants of the Egyptian pantheon, and thus a bit more
otherworldly than just ordinary sphinxes :D

That's the idea. I wouldn't mind inspiring other people to start
posting their own regular articles. Really, I found that the MotMs actually
aren't that hard to write; it's getting a good idea as a base that's the
hard part. And one of SJ's biggest weaknesses was a lack of good setting,
so I figure the best way to start to plug that hole is just regular, plug &
play worldlets for DMs to put wherever they want, free of any (major)
connections with any particular setting. Keeping game-related stats to a
minimum makes it a bonus, as then anyone could use it :D

Um, ouch? :D Whenever a DM say's "woke up somebody too early", it's
*never* a good thing. That usually involves elder evils that tend to squish
gods like bugs...:D
