*There are a number of magical items scattered through various publications
which provide a near-limitless supply of food.  An Everproducing Rice Mortar
(OA) or Never-Ending Barrel of Salt Pork (WCC) would both serve that function.
For further inspiration, see Night of the Seven Swords, The Secret of Bone
Hill, or The Night Below.  They tend to be repititious, but they'd work.
*Drink can be provided by such a decanter or any number of devices designed
in a similar fashion.
*The real limit is the size of the wizard's library and supplies needed for
experiments.
