Entertainment would be good. See aforementioned swimming pool. Being on friendly terms with a succubus might be a good thing, too (even wizards have the urge...). In the short term anyway. A nice library would be a necessity (and any wizard worth his pointy hat has to have a library anyway). Various scrying items or, perhaps, magical correspondence systems would also be welcome.
