Officially, there is also non-magical helms, > a concept I to be > goofy myself (how do these work again?). I tried to solve that by using steam jet engine, petrol based jet engine which is cheaper than magical helms. I also use propellers, paddle wheels, solar/mana sail, balloon/blimp/dirigible. These are only asteroid belt ships since they take a long time to reach even a close destination. I am also using a spellengine helm that allows non-magic using pilots to man the helm. > BTW, there are a number of smaller ships, such as > leaf ships, arrows, > catamarans, corbinas, flitters, locusts, mosquitos, > urchins, plus > others such as the yacht or damselfly if you don't > mind going as high > as 10 tons. I am trying to think and create more small ships. My players wanted to have more control with their characters. My players wanted to fly their own ship or at least a fighter type ship rather than being just a passenger. >>http://www.geocities.com/asibal_2000/spelljammer/sjtodo.html I added a wheelship, a small ship. I think the artist who created the ship should name it. =) > > A) Transjamming Helm > > B) Phase-Helm > > These seem better served as separate magic items > rather than helm types. Yes, transjamming was a magic item before and I can easily make the phase into a magic item also. A.Sibal __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
