Yeah I thought of that once I hit send. Oh well. I also figured that since the description says anything placed in the cup will get accelerated, I figure that includes any green slime residue left in the barrel, or for that matter anything left in the barrel. Hence, those accelerators are self-cleaning! -----Original Message----- From: Discussion list for the Spelljammer campaign setting [mailto:SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com] On Behalf Of Thatotherguy Sent: Friday, January 09, 2004 1:31 PM To: SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com Subject: Re: [SPELLJAMMER] short questions (long-winded answer) > For the green slime: acceleration = (552.28 * 552.28) / (2 * 4) = > 38,126.65 meters per second per second. > > Now for the kicker. The acceleration due to gravity is about 9.8 > meters > per second per second. With that accelaration the green slime undoubtedly dies during acceleration, long before it potentially strikes anything. And if it doesn't then the simply striking of air molecules as it leaves the air envelope should finish it off (think of it like a neutron bomb). __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
