Here's a possibility for you:

3,112th anniversary of the Moon Moth-class Armada

This month in 1373 DR, the Elven Imperial Navy celebrates the Moon
Moth-class armada's 3,112 years of Navy service. First introduced in
-1627 DR, the Moon Moth-class gave an unprecedented combination of
combat prowess and spacecraft carrying capacity that's still in use
today. With 50 flitters or hummingbirds ("hummers") aboard and an
impressive weapons array, the Moon Moth armada can deliver a lethal
punch at close range or from a standoff distance. But the ship's
distinctive command keep on its back holds plenty of space where
diplomats can negotiate treaties and otherwise keep the peace.

So whether it's used as a weapon of war or an instrument of peace, the
Moon Moth armada is a truly impressive example of Elven engineering.

Facts and Figures

Length (Hull): 400 feet
Beam (Hull): 100 feet
Wingspan: 850 feet
Length (Overall): 784 feet
Spacecraft complement: 50 flitters or hummingbirds
Oldest Moon Moth: ENS Arrow of Justice (1,824 years)

Here are a couple of article possibilities for you!

Orc Arrested!

Grok Bloodstain, an orc in the employ of the Celestial Legion mercenary
group, was arrested and charged with the murder of a human dock worker.
The
orc did not resist arrest, as was originally expected, but was taken
into
custody by Bralian city guards after receiving encouragement from his
captain.

"We don't believe he did this," said Lt. Oakwood, commander of the
Starfarer. "It's not in his nature." The half-elven commander
continued to
say that the Celestial Legion will conduct their own investigation to
prove
their member's innocence.

Grok claims the deed was actually performed by two illithids the
previous
night, but no evidence has been found to prove his accusations.

Saltriss, a representative of the Illithid embassy, responded to the
orc's
claims. "We protest these false accusations and will take measures to
prove
that no illithids were involved."

Grok is currently being held by Bralian forces and is pending trial.

War Imminent

Rumors of a battle between vessels from Hyrkul and Demet have raised
issues
of concern over the safety of shipping lanes through Hyrkulspace.
Ambassadors from both worlds have been blaming each other over the
incident,
increasing tension between the two worlds that has been steadily
increasing
over the past several months.

"This is clearly an attempt to squelch Demet's presence in space, and we
will not tolerate such tyrannical behavior," said Shar Danat, Demet's
ambassador to Hestia.

Phelar Joxan, Hyrkul's ambassador, responded, "We have offered nothing
but
peaceful intentions to Demet. It is clear that they want nothing but
dominance of this sphere. Hyrkul will not be bullied by them and will
defend our right to exist."

It is not known who started the battle between Hyrkulian and Demetian
forces, but representatives from the Mage Guild of Bral are attempting
to
determine the facts.

"We welcome any assistance from our sister city," said Duke Tolar, ruler
of
the asteroid city of Hestia. "In turn, Hestia offers its resources to
try
to prevent any hostilities in this sphere."
