I did some research into property rights about a year ago. I believe
WOTC still owns SpellJammer in the pen-and-paper arena, but Infogrammes
owns the computer program rights to all D&D products. At least that's
what the WOTC representative told me. Makes me what Infogrammes would
want for a license to bring SpellJammer back to the computer, if only
for a non-commercial game. (Pictures fleets of elven ships pitted
against scro in a Homeworld-like RTS game)
