Paul is merely trying to ask what you mean in your >emails. He's as honestly confused as I am. Reading your emails on >this subject I think I know what you're trying to say but .... I just made an offhand remark that was critical about WoTC and suddenly found myself having to defend being critical of them. It wasn't intended to start a thread or an off topic discussion, it just became that way. Some people on this list seem to be very (overly) sensitive whenever anyone makes unflattering comments about WoTC or thier rule systems. Every system, and company, has it's faults and strong points, it's that simple. None of them are perfect. And WoTC is far from perfect. To me they seem to loose focus on creativity and instead try to just pump changes that are intended to make them money. Like those cards, the Magic the Gathering cards. Those were an insidious invention, I'll tell you. Little or no imagination, just a push to make you spend your money. Gygax was in it for the fun of it, because he loved it, and that is why Dungeons and Dragons took off like it did. The money was secondary and only meant to help him persue the primary focus - the expression of his imagination. - Coyote, the Desert Dog _________________________________________________________________ >From Beethoven to the Rolling Stones, your favorite music is always playing on MSN Radio Plus.
