(This is wierd, me defending Paul.)

To put a fine point on it, I'm confused as well. Quite simply, you
posted suddenly to the Spelljammer list about a Forgotten Realms
product with a subject line that is a response to a completely
unrelated thread (I've left that subject line on this post so you can
see what I mean). Paul is merely trying to ask what you mean in your
emails. He's as honestly confused as I am. Reading your emails on
this subject I think I know what you're trying to say but you've
assumed quite a bit of background that most of us don't have on the
subject. So we're not really sure if you're saying some people were
doing things wrong and WotC clamped down or no one was doing anything
wrong and WotC clamped down. From personal knowledge I know some
people post Core Rules stuff to the web illegally. I have also seen
soem of the letters sent out about this (the letters I saw were from
svgames who was running the .pdf store at the time).

So, Paul hasn't twisted anything. He didn't need to. You were much
less clear in your actual emails than you obviously thought you were (I
can see this easily because none of your emails provided any
background, they suddenly leapt into mid-discussion and expected us to
all catch up).

BTW, I think this is all getting pretty off topic. If your real point
to this whole thing is to ask where you can get the FRIA, all you
needed to do was ask (even the list ogre wouldn't object). If it was
to say you think WotC isn't managing its electronic media well,
including affiliated websites (such as Beyond the Moons), I think we
all completely agree. If it's both, well, that's all you needed to
say. Instead you seemed to start off with a rant against WotC for no
reason evident from previous list traffic I've seen (on this list).
