For anyone looking for a detailed look at Mind Flayers beyond Illithiad I
suggest to you to look at Unveiled Masters from Paradigm Concepts. This is a 3E
book that wants to be the illithiad but ends up going on its own tangent in
places. The book is thought provoking and interesting to any who like the ideas
of Mind Flayers. Now granted those who only play 2E may not get as much but
there is enough of a wealth of information that there is the possibility that
there is something for everyone.
