Already are illithids with more tentacles, the 6 tentacled ularithid, if I
remember correctly
No need to give them more tentacles, that makes them ridiculously
overpowered in melee combat, which is not what they are into anyway....

With psionics and grafts I guess some would add tentacles, but how many can
their bodies carry and use, hm? Whats more important to an illithid, more
tentacles, or more power? Most illithids would rather have more psionic
power.
Hm, so why not imagine illithids using various techniques perhaps to add
VESTIGAL tentacles, weak non-combat ones, that help with their mental powers
or some such? :)
