stray thought here that may or may not bear mentioning but I'll put it out in
any case. you may want to look into what FFG has done with their Dragonstar
universe and/or Perpetrated Press's Factory. Both had idea for body alterations
that were at least partially magical in nature. FFG called it "Spellware" and
PP called it "dweoware" or dweomerware" which was a bit tongue twisting but
got the same idea across. The point being that both involved body modification,
more or less like what the advance thri-kreen of the SJ universe offered but
rather than take up slots of some kind cost the character in question XP to
have installed. My reason for mentioning this is to make the following
suggestion: that this feat enable something similar to spellware which the Xixchil have
trained themsleves for and are the most advanced users of magitech of this
fashion. Just a stray thought and suggestion.
