To be honest, I was going off of the way the original skill was written up
in the Spacefarer's guide.  Plus, this goes back to game balance.  Sure,
you get tougher skin and super-strength, but you're not going to get it
for free.  Plus, bards and sorcerers would want to stay away from this
option.

Would you then suggest maybe various other penalties?  For example, if I
gain Str points, I will always lose an equal amount of Int.  Then have
something different for each thing affected.

Thoughts?
