Comments like the above are perfectly accurate, as you'd know if you'd
paid any attention to 3e. Since you don't, I'll assume you don't use
it. If you actually bother to read and comprehend what is above,
you'll see I never attacked the game or its players/DMs. What I said,
which is an absolutely true statement, is that *DM creativity in
implementing game effects* is discouraged. This is why everything in
3e is hard codified (especially effects of actions and how to handle
them). Which is far different from even 2e where the Xixchil
manipulation NWP leaves it up to DM (and possibly player) creativity
to come up with the negative effects of a transformation/manipulation.
2e also has things like wild magic which is another area that's
obviously designed for unbridled creativity.

So perhaps in the future, instead of flaming me, you will try to
comprehend what was said in the language it was said in and then gain
some knowledge of what is being discussed to know if it's accurate or
not *before replying*.

Incidentally, 3.5e has worked even harder at codifying things, though
given the system I think this is good, not bad (once you go so far, you
need to be complete and not half-assed). And, if you bother to read
that previous sentence you will find that once more it is not an attack
on anyone or thing, since I don't play that system it's just an
observation of what's actually occurring.
