I guess for me whatever game it is, I'm pretty ok w/ allowing lone
fruitbat chars. Gaming is an escape from reality so I let it be a
playground for the imagination.

Whenever I'm a player in a D&D game I only play different types of
fairies. Now the most purist "I only want to allow vanilla chars ONLY"
games that I've played in have to be White Wolf LARPS. Oh well I guess
I'm doomed to love the odd bits of games.

Tee Hee... I have had such problems with players who
want to be Drizzt, I loved this one guy who said, 'No
I don't want to play Drizzt, I just want to play a
dark elf Ranger.' when I would not allow it, the
response was, 'Well can I play a Half-Dragon Ranger?'
