I have to admit I really don't have the knowledge to back up any claims
on what is or is not a plausible mechanic. I went with -1 per 1,500
feet (10 hexes in my system) just because it sounded workable. At some
point I will have to sit down and work out some more details.

Now now, Mark, than sounds awfully close to the start of a gravity on
contact vs. gravity on overlap debate! Then again, it has been a few
years since we had one of those...

Hey, if you have the table space, go for it! It's moments like these I
am reminded of my dream gaming table, which of course has the entire
surface covered with an LCD display for maps and such. Ah, the dreams
of the gaming nerd...
