[continued.] [The SJ-campaign or any other "sphere"-specific campaign might have additional items on either list, according to local customs] Now, each ware might or might not be available in a specific location, or port - hence some wares are in demand (imports) while others are in supply (exports). How much a ware is in demand / supply is described with a modifier ranging from +5 (major imports) to -5 (major exports) which is applied to a 3d6-roll on a "Base Price Adjustment"-table when purchasing or selling goods. "Base Price Adjustment" range from 30% to 400% of the listed price of a given good, depending on whether it's a major export (below 100%) or a major import (above 100%). Furthermore, rolling on the "Base Price Adjustment"-table may also be modified by any mercantile trading skills a character might posses. O==(=====> So, basically one would have to come up with a list of (modified) goods for a port or site. BTW, I'm quoting directly from the above mentioned products here; am I violating something or someone? I hope not, as the system is really brilliant and hasn't been given the attention it deserves - I've even gone so far as making a whole compilation on trade & commerce including navigation, various travel fares & rates, currencies & change, medical advisory, spells & skills, and even new character classes; unfortunately it's all OD&D... -Fels
