I like what he has done with most of them, especially since he is using 3.5e, which I have happily converted over to. At some point I was considering converting them to SS race-class format, once he has more of them complete (unless he beats me too it. Lord knows he has nothing better to do these days...) So, not yet. Which means this post likely wasn't too much help. Static made his from scratch, rather than with a template. He has his as ECL 8 (though it should probably be 9. Maybe.)
