Using contemporary space terminology probably isnt appropriate, but the "coasters" still fit the definition of "system ships." They only take days between even the furthest of most planets, and spend most of their careers at one pier or another unloading cargo. These are actually the lifeblood of all asteroid cities, as all of them require huge amounts of grain to survive. If Bral has a population of 10k, then it needs approx. 40k farmers to feed it, even using Plant Growth to beef up the harvests, and you wont find that many farmers on the underside of Bral. In fact, I think you'll find that Bral imports in excess of 2000 tons of grain per year. If this is carried in galleons, then Bral will require 50 cargos of grain per year, which means at any given time there will be 1 or 2 grain ships docking at Bral's piers.
