Well. Radiation tends to implement a bit of modern technology into the
fantasy realms. I know that a lot of players out there run this kind of
campaigns where technology (with various degrees) and fantasy are mixed.
Personally I like to keep my campaigns strictly fantasy with as little
influence of technology as possible. One of the obvious exceptions are the
pipstol's and muskets that are available in space.

As for the radiation damage. Well I think I can live with the idea of
"radiation" damage. This may be a deadly resonance vibrated outwardly from
a number of spacedwelling creatures. This way you can make it sonic
related and even the deaf creatures are affected by this, because hearing
is not needer. Perhaps can be countered by Protection From Sound?

As long as you cannot counter it with lead or other modern-age techniques
I can live with a lot. Just keep the impact as true to the original
creature as possible. An enriched uranium eating space dwelling creature
can be predicted through the modern age knowledge. A phasing weird
gas-belching creature can not be predicted.... god knows what else it may
do.

With kind regards/Met vriendelijke groet,

Thanks Myers
I was working on a conversion for the Radiant Golem and was thinking
of
how best to represent it deadly power. How does those that get mail for
this
List (and use 3E) think of 'Radiation' as a Damage type in 3e?
