Since such a thing won't simply "happen" with standard SJ physics, obviously something special was done (probably magic) to generate the envelope. > How much breathable water will be lost if water > envelope shrunk to, let say, 10x? Nearly two thirds of it. > Will it be enough to travel to other crystal spheres? That depends on number of crew vs volume of the envelope, as with any other envelope. > Will a smaller water envelope (shape like a football > or egg) allow a better maneuverability than MC F or MC > E? That would depend on the method used to produce the envelope. But basically, no. > Can a waterjammer or similar craft tonnage calculated > as Ship Tons plus Water Mass (Tons) equals Total > Tonnage? No. Ship tonnage would not change. If magic is used to secure a "liquid envelope" the magic will almost undoubtedly have to prevent the liquid from increasing the overall tonnage so the helm will be able to function. Even if the liquid counts as tonnage, it would still be based on volume, never on mass. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
