I actually wrote up some spells dealign with this in my SJ Deep
Sashelas write-up but Static has gotten so busy he's never had time to
put it on the BtM site.  :(

We do know that water can't simply be lifted off with as part of the
envelope (otherwise ships would never be able to land on water without
bringing it along) and someone did put a ship on the web that was
sealed to contain the water--since it's all volume, weight doesn't matter.
