yup, english.
I recalled you weren't a native english speaker, so i figured you wouldn't
be familiar with the term.

dowager: n
1) a widow holding property or title inherited from her deceased husband
2) a dignified elderly woman.

It's not a REALLY common word these days, but, er, it's a word.
