        Where'd deflection come from?  Are they incorporeal?  Or is this
from their "Darkness" ability?  If so, it shouldn't add a deflection bonus

Hey I didn't know that. I have to check out the MM for that. Nice to know.
I just didn't want to make a creature with a tough hide only. I wanted to
add some subtility to the creature. Perhaps I will make the deflection
linked
to the darkness and describe it as a Supernatural Ability.

Yep. Rounding factor was amiss. You are right.
