Hey... some gnomes could have kidnapped a Hearth Bear, and then created the:

Giant Space Lightning-Nose Puffy Hearth Bear

    Found to be the cuttest thing in space by little gnomish kids, a Hearth
Bear was kidnapped by their father, Gingledabs, an Nyrondese (in Oerth)
born, but space-raised gnome. He made some "improvements" to the simple
bear, hoping to make it even more cute and also able to protect itself and
his children. Then, after some years, there appeared the fantastic species
of the "Ursus Cutessinous Long
Nose-as-to-blast-people-who-do-evil-to-children-and-is-very-soft-and-lovable
".

Combat
    GSLNPHB are trained for combat, and protecting the little ones. Its has
the ability to use its "Lightning-Nose", which able to protude a bolt of
lightning with a reach of 30', which does 6d6 dmg (DC to save for half: 10).
But his most dreaded ability, except for children, is "Puffy". The GSLNPHB
is able to inflate itself and its fur, becaming an extremely cute and
lovable being, even by scro standards!!! In this form he is able to attack
only with the Nose, but gains a bonus to AC based on the weapon used: +4 vs.
S, +6 vs. B and +2 vs P. Also, this extreme cuteness makes him seen like a
16 cha individual who is asking for peace, so he gains a "Bluff" skill for
this regard only, at +8. If the people stop attacking, it will try to be
nice to them as to give time for little children to scape, or to the enemies
to give up fighting!

In the Spheres
    GSLNPHB is new to Greyspace, but soon more gnomes will take an interest
and give a big headache to the dwarves, trying to obtain such an envied pet.
Maybe soon there will be a Giant Space Bearmster!!!!!
