Note on languages: Due to some perversion, English and Common are
similar. You speak English - you speak common.
So are Russian and Tussentian, if you happen to meet any Tussentians.
OC: 5023 EC(EARTH COUNT): 1977
Avalonspace: Queen's Birth
In a backwater sphere called Avalon, a local queen gives birth to a
beautiful girl. The girl's name is Fiona. The Queen, of course, does not
know, that the Deities of Chaos are watching the girl closely, preparing
to make her a living artifact.
Start of the Vodani Wars
OC: 5027 EC: 1981
In an unprecedented series of events, spelljamming powers from all
of the Radiant Triangle joined together to battle the Vodani Empire.
The Vodani controlled some twelve systems just outside the Triangle, and
they wanted to conquer it. Plain and simple. At first the Vodani wars
were very limited in scope, but as they progressed they became more
intense.
Realmspace: The Renegades
OC: 5028 EC: 1982
A group of alhoons start developing a substance that could potentially
replace the brains in the illithids' diet. The leader of the group,
Tyrex, claims that the substance's introduction might give his people to
gain more power via cooperation. It is surprising that the Illithid
didn't think of it before with all their genius-level intelligence.
Close of the Vodani Wars
OC: 5029 EC: 1983
In a battle of epic proportions, a united fleet consisting of ships
from all over the Radiant Triangle, and several from the Pentiacate,
defeated the Vodani fleet above their capital city. The Vodani empire,
which spanned 12 systems at its peak, broke into five major parts, with
regional warlords plying for the vacant office of emperor.
OC: 5035 EC: 1989
Avalonspace: War I
Tussent, Fiona's homeland, is engaged in a war. Her parents die in a
shipwreck. The old Mother Queen assumes the throne. Fiona starts
discovering her powers.
OC: 5036 EC: 1990
Start of the Second Inhuman War
The humanoids try to get on their feet. They are tired to hear the word
"goblin" said contemptously. They want to stop being restricted to the
surface of the planets. So they start a revolt. And so, the war starts.
OC: 5038 EC: 1991
Avalonspace: The Throne
Another war shakes Tussent. The old Queen is murdered, and Tussent
conquered. Fiona's drow mentor, Sunray, helps her complete her wizard
education together with Fabio, her lover, and to reconquer Tussent in a
single year.
OC: 5038
Avalonspace: The runaway
A half-orc captain captures secret papers of the IEN and flees with
them. His ship is forced to commit landfall on Avalon. The ship lands in
Tussent. Fiona, who finds out about the Inhuman war, decides to declare
war on the IEN. Her talentful personality allows her to create a small
fleet, which is called the Freedom Alliance. And Fiona is thought to be
the Chaotic Gods' "fighting machine". (ala Muad-dib)
OC: 5039 EC:1992
Jailspace: The Liberators
Jailspace is a super-backwater system. It's only planet contains only
labor camps for IEN's war prisoners - mainly humanoids, who are forced
to work in the mines - the planet is rich in natural resources. It's not
surprising, than, that Jailspace was the CF's first strike. The second
was a backwater sphere which was so backwater it even had no name. Both
were easily overtaken. The Fleet became famous. The three spheres that
had Fleet presence (in Avalonspace only Tussent was Fleet-controlled,
the other two were completely overtaken) are dubbed by the IEN's enemies
as "Freedomspace".
The Wanderer's Demise
Fiona's friend, an elf called Altayn, infiltrates I.E.N. "Wanderer",
which is sent to smash the resistance, and murders the captain, than
calls for boarding action. Most of the elves on board surrender. Fiona
orders to release them. Now, word of her nobleness speads as quick as
they run.
OC: 5040 EC:1993
Freedomspace: The Alliances
Fiona's ministers have lots of diplomatic skills. And so treaties are
signed with the Draconic Fleet, The Scro Dominion, Tyrex' alhoons, a
neogi clan. A Drow kingdom from Avalon also agrees to join the war
effort. According to the rumours, the Fleet had acquired a gammaroid's
shell and is trying to build a base from it, something like a tougher
version of Gamaro. A guerilla war continues throughout the spheres, but
nobody knows what is the Freedom Alliance is up to.
OC: 16.3.5041 EC: 1993
Krynnspace: The Victory
The Freedom Alliance ends the war in one strike. Having secretly
prepared a giant fleet, they decide to take a gamble and use all their
ships, not leaving even a small fleet for sphere protection, they strike
for Lionhart. It is unknow how they found out its location, but it
happened. The huge fleet just appeared out of nowhere and charged.
After a long and glorious battle in space Lionhart was destroyed. The
IEN was no more. Or so it was thought.
OC: 18.3.5041 EC: 1994
Bralspace: The Peace Conference
On Bralspace, Fiona gathers representatives from the major spelljamming
and organisations. The representative of several neogi clans are
present, together with those of the Tyrexians, the IUN, the Muldravian
Empire, the Vodoni, several drow nations, two dwarven clans, Omnispace,
the Thri-Kreen, the Lizarmen, Li Shou, POT, and several others. Fiona's
speech on the Conference should be always remembered for its excellent
wording and importance to farther history of wildspace. It has been
written down and can be found in any self-respected library. After she
finished the speech, the hall sank in a tumult (the guys were dividing
the Prime Material, what do you want). Somehow, Fiona's assistants had
prevented the participants from shoving sharp objects into each other,
and the Peace Charter was signed. It is understood that although the
I.E.N. is somewhat weakened by the destruction of it's base, it is still
alive and breathing. Therefore, "We have to wait, rearm, and strike"
(Fiona aelen Riannon, Peace Speech). The Known space enters a situation
very similar to what the earthlings call a "Cold War". The "Evil"
nations share the conquered land, and Tussent gets 14 systems, becoming
a key part of the "Bralspace Pact". However, the Freedom Alliance is now
an unstable group, as almost all of the participants pull in different
directions (dammit there are Neogi, Scro, Illithid and Drow in there!)
OC: 5042 EC: 1993
Earth: The Meeting
A stranded flotilla of three Tradesmen, the "Star-Seeker", the
"Liberator", and the "Cash-Maker". arrives to Earth. As they attempt to
land in the CIS, the Star-Seeker is shot down, and the other two ships
are forced to land at a Russian secret aerodrome. The crews are saved by
sheer luck - Common appears to be understandable for those who know
English, and the some of the people on the aerodrome know the latter.
Some talks - and the "Liberator" and "Cash-Maker" leave Earth ladened
with AKM's, leaving their gold and wine to corrupt Russian
officials.
OC: 5043 EC:1995
Earth: The Dawn
The Captain of the flottilla, Harold Havrix, sells the guns and is
filthy rich. He sets up a 40-ship flotilla and comes back for more.
However, he doesn't know that the fleet is traced by
some competitors. Earthlings now start exporting everything from guns, to pens, to IBM PC's.
OC: 5044 EC: 1997
Earch: The fleet buyers
The Earth governments are unable to keep the contact with Earth secret
any longer. Mass demonstrations and uproar is caused by the statements.
Ignoring the mayhem, the Tussent Empire signs a treaty with the Omsk
tank plant for production of 600 T-80 MBTs. The I.E.N. settles for 1000
M1A1 Abrams and several cargo barges full of M16's.
Other nations make likewise orders. Earth leaders start hatching a plan
of just selling away parts of their nuclear arsenals since this is more
environment friendly then burying it. The Giff make a collective promise
never to fight Earth.
OC: 5046 EC: 1999
Several nations start issuing paper money. Earth is churning out insane
amounts of industrial goods (mainly weapons) to cope with the demand.
Unemployment is almost abolished on Earth.
Many earthlings line up as mercenaries or advisors for off-world conflicts, as they are considered to
be the most frightening warriors in the multiverse (a myth aroused by the sheer coolness of
Earth weapons).
Avalonspace: New Laws and New LAWs
Fiona introduces conscription from age 16. Special units (Aviation,
Marines, Black Squirrels, etc.) are joined at 12. The Steel Dragons
Elite Armour Division is founded.
OC: 5047 EC: 2000
Toril: The Slavers
A car company from Earth founds a plant near Zhentil Keep, using slaves and undead as unskilled
labourers. Human rights fighters and religious fanatics storm the
company headquarters. Company sells the plant to the Zhentarim.
June 2000
Harpers employ 2 A10A Thunderbolt attack craft to destroy the Zhentarim plant. Zhentarim threaten retaliation.
