Man, does that make me feel old. I remember crawling through S3
Expedition to the Barrier Peaks with my 9th level druid Ulfhelm. My
adventuring companions were Legolas (7th/11th elven Fighter mage)
played by my buddy Ron (also the GM), and Abdul the Butcher
(half-ogre 12th level fighter) played by my buddy Andy. One of our
all-nighters, especially memorable because it was at Ron's house and
his mom was hot:)

A druid wasn't a bad choice in that adventure, despite the tech. Many
of the monsters were plant based:)

Course back then our campaigns alays turned into PC wars. After the
adventure Abdul caved my skull in and Legolas claimed the ship as his
own personal stronghold. Used the ship's  weapons to take over the
Valley of the Mage from the Mage and thus became the 'new' Mage of
the Valley. Put him 'top' in our wars of PC assassination.

Hmmmm... bet I could recycle those maps and pictures for a cool Star
Wars adventure:)
