Just a whole kind of worms to open > up though, no? This talk about Blackmoor can be spiced up if we remember that there are about three diferent versions of the theme: 1) The Original D&D Blackmoor module with its "Temple of the Frog", there was Power Suits, Alien Species and a Blaster for the villain; 2) Old D&D DA Series. There characters from mystara went into a time travel quest which involved the realm of Blackmoor threatened by techno beings. The "Temple of the Frog" was even adapted as the DA2 on the series; The people of Blackmoor who lived in Mystara where rumored to be much advanced technologically, even mading "Rain of Fire" (an atomic bomb) which changed the world! 3) Last, but not least, Hollow World Blackmoor elves, descendants of the original Blackmoorian Elves before the rain of fire. This thread is one of the best to link with SJ because the realm of Alphatia (in the HW too) has many a fly boat and in its history the people came from another planet, which was destroyed by a mad overking (later the Immortal Alphaks).
