I am using Carrara Studio 2, which is a mid-to-high end professional modelling suite. Web 3-D is fine if you are just going to view simple models on the web, but these ships are going to be usable in any modelling and rendering program for people to make their own images with. Also, if uses with Carrara, the textures are going to be high-quality realistic materials. I do not know if Carrara's texture mapping can be exported with the model to other programs like Lightwave or Bryce, so that's another thing I'll be learning. In any case, I've nearly got the ship's sillouette finished. I will have the finished images of these ships and their models for download at webspace I am procuring. I may also put up screenshots of the models in progress. Kevin G
