OH I love new ships! New races are always good too. At this time I am working on the following ships (each will have deckplans and images): Gif Cannonball (small metal sphere with some cannons onboard and thick hull designed to ram other ships! Crab-Ship, Alicorn (pic/image already on net, just trying to come up with deckplans) and the Bucentaur. Mark T. That is, not space-borne versions of traditional D&D races but really new ones that have their own ships and so on? I have a couple that have worked OK. One is a race of fruit trees with vine tentacles as their manipulative members and spherical ships possibly mistaken for beholder vessels. The other is a race of molluscs resembling big-headed octopi. The octopi are a straight mollusc-type octopus race with their own ships resembling biremes with triangular sails and beaks for boarding and ramming. There is nothing crudely octopus-like in their ship design as there is no real reason for it - after all the humans that use tradesman don't look like goldfish. ******************************************************************** The D&D; Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/Welcome.asp The Spelljammer Homepage: http://www.darkwoodforest.com/rpg/compendium/ To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@??????.???????.com with UNSUB SPELLJAMMER-L in the body of the message.
