1. Not easily by humans, who could probably just tell if an Illithid is
young or near the end of its life span.
2. I'm not, but other people might be.
3. Depends on the ship.  Small ships have small min crews, large ships have
large min crews.
4. Not easily by humans, but do-able if you want.

1. Would it be possible to determine the age of an Illithid by it's looks?
