The game in the FR thats currently recruiting players, is it PBeM or normal
chat-room stuff? I personally don't care for the PBeM type of games- it means
I have to be online all the time to check my mail & play. When they have it
in a chatroom, it's ussually once a week, or once every day or something-
that & I prefer to do stuff in real-time.

<<FR uses world specific gems so they have to describe them.  For quick
descriptions (mainly color) the 1st Edition DMG was great.  It also has
a list of possible magical properties of gems.  Once you have a decent
dictionary or online source (there are several pages with pictures and
descriptions of gems that I've seen) all you need is a name to get them
described.  It's the base values that the game sources need to provide.>>

Hmmm. Are any of these descriptions or tables online anywhere? It'd be easier
then tracking down a 1st Ed DMG most likely.
