        Encounter 5:
        The Town:  The Righteous Guard of Miel currently consists of the
several humans (1 F3 and 1 F1 sergeants, 5 F0, all have soldier kit
from PO:S&P) and one hadozee.  Potter Holm is a  N hem F2.
Most of the adult dwarves are F1 and F2 clansdwarves though there are
some black sheep in the form of a T3 cutpurse, a F1 (no kit) lazy
alcoholic, and a F1/T1 (no kit yet) who has begun taking after his T3
cousin.  There are also 17 F1 marines, 2 F2 marines, and a C2 ritual
priest of Berronar Truesilver who has a young 0th level acolyte who has
not yet reached maturity.
The elven community consists mainly of F1s (with a variety of kits or
none at all) with a few as high as fourth level due to their long
lifespan.  Many of the elves are mutli-classed, however.  In total
there are 10 W1s (all multi-classed and of various kits, including war
wizard from the CBoE and war mage from CGR1) and 3 W2s (also all
multi-classed and including a war wizard) among the local elven
populace (besides Lilina and Heath).  In addition to those elves listed
above (including Heath, Lilina, and Saul) the elves have 3 T1s (2 of
which are multi-classed), 3 D1s who serve Rillifane Rallathil (the
druids do not practice openly but they are much appreciated by the
local farmers and have a number of human and halfling as well as elven
devotees of the faith that secretly support them), 2 R1s, 6 F1 marines,
and a C1 of Corellon Larethian among their numbers.
Other than Statra and Liffess, the local half-elves have 3 T1s and a T2
among their number while the rest are kitless F1s.
Besides Caramip the gnome community consists mainly of F1s and F2s with
2 F1/W(I)1s among them.  Neither has a spellbook or memorized spells,
however.  The halflings are mostly F1s but there are also 3 T2s, 6 T1s
(4 of which are multi-classed), a T3, and 4 F2s.
The bulk of the town^Òs populace consists of humans.  There are 1058
humans that have not been detailed elsewhere.  Of these, 6 have already
joined the guard and at least 30 are too old to do much (though one of
those is a retired W(D)2 that is becoming senile and is no longer
trusted to perform accurate divinations).  4 others are considered
unfit for the military due to permanent disabilities.  There are 3 W1s.
 The remaining town criminal element (those who are human) consists of
12 T1s and 2 T2s.  The bulk of the human population not yet detailed
are untrained F0s with 4 F2s and 19 F1s (Potter^Òs journeyman is a F1)
mixed in.
