        Characters buying food and water is not the same thing as having
trade routes between the elven and human worlds.  None of the planets have
resources that anybody else needs.  The closest the article comes is the
dwarves and gnomes, who've had their homeworlds taken/destroyed.  They
need to trade to survive.  What do the humans and elves need that they
couldn't get on their own worlds?
