I'm anticipating my PCs a little here, and asking for input from the sages of the list. In an AD&D context, what would be required to get the ship from S3, Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, off the ground? For those unfortunates who are unfamiliar with the ship in question, it is a 220' high, 540' diameter disc section of a sci-fi starship, made of high-tech metal with heavy machinery on board. There are no indications of functional engines.
