I never felt SJ should have included the core settings.  Quite simply,
they were built without reference to it and it should not ave been
appended.  Yes, the core ground settings for AD&D (FR, GH, DL) could
still be reachable by SJ but the SJ setting material should have been
like the modules and AC boxed set:  it should have completely avoided
the big 3 worlds.  I think "attaching" SJ as it were just hurt SJ and
made it look more like a desperately tacked on setting than its own
place to adventure.  Really, with the planes, people already had a way
to travel between the core worlds, SJ was never needed for that.  SJ
should have been about itself, ie, ships and adventure in space.
