Actully 20,000gp to 50,000 is not a bad base price for these helms. In a
normal campaign the PC will have to be at least 8th or higher to even have
that much money. At least that is the way it is in my games. And besides
this would account for the number of helms in a typical Spacefaring society.

<blink><blink><blink> You have got to be BSing me, right?  You mean
they've effectively reduced helms to carpets of flying?  No, wait, some
of the carpets are MORE EXPENSIVE!  I can hear the "munchkin" cries
already.  I have GOT to get me some of whatever they're smok'n, because
man, that HAS to get you stoked good!
